Will a smart lock fit a wooden, steel or composite door?

Z-17 and C-31 catalogue pages show wooden, steel and composite door scenarios. Actual fitting depends on thickness, lock-body dimensions, cut-outs, handle orientation and frame alignment. Yantra Care should check measurements before installation.

Do smart locks need Wi-Fi or Bluetooth?

Connectivity varies by model. C-31's catalogue lists Wi-Fi and Bluetooth; the fingerprint padlock lists Bluetooth and app access. Remote unlocking may have additional network or gateway requirements. Confirm these requirements for your selected lock instead of assuming all app features work offline.

What happens if a smart lock battery runs out?

Backup access is model-specific. J-03 lists USB emergency power and a mechanical key; S90 lists Type-C emergency power. Hotel Lock 2411 lists an emergency mechanical key. Keep the appropriate backup accessible and follow the supplied instructions for voltage and charging.
